Remembering Jon Grayson.

With deep sadness we announce the passing of our colleague and friend, Jon Grayson. When Jon joined us last April, he brought with him 20 years of experience bridging the gap between Hollywood, Silicon Valley and Madison Avenue for content producers, content distributors (both traditional and new media), brands and marketers of every kind.

As a former agent at International Creative Management (ICM) and entertainment marketing executive at the Endeavor Agency (William Morris Endeavor Agency), Jon worked with every major motion picture, television network and advertising agency.  Jon covered Warner Bros. for ICM’s Motion Picture Literary department and worked directly with ICM’s preeminent roster of directors, producers and screenwriters.  While at Endeavor, Jon was at the cutting-edge of “integrated marketing” partnerships between content creators, consumer brands, and television networks that resulted in new paradigms of content financing and marketing for several high profile television shows.

Prior to that, Jon was a pioneer in digital entertainment as the founder and president of Interactive Associates, Inc. , a producer of digital content for early “interactive television” platforms marketed in the  early 90’s by 3DO, Philips, etc.  Jon’s Interactive Associates, Inc. was one of the first clients of the “New Media” Department at the William Agency.  Jon was later the V.P. of Business Development for an internet startup company funded by Frank Biondi’s (former Chairman of Universal Studios) WaterView Advisors.  He held a Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and a B.S. degree in Business Administration (Marketing) and lived in Calabasas, California.  Our deepest condolences go out to his family and the many, many friends he touched with his warmth and charm.
